Zug Bug

Imitates mayfly nymphs, particularly Baetis and other small, slender mayflies with segmented bodies and slim profiles.

History:
Created by Dick Zug in the 1980s, the Zug Bug quickly became a favorite nymph pattern due to its simplicity and effectiveness. The non-beadhead version is widely used in delicate presentations and technical nymphing, especially on tailwaters and freestone streams.
