The Royal Wulff is one of the best-known attractor dry flies in the world, combining a royal (peacock/red floss) body with the Wulff style. It may imitate terrestrial insects, spent mayflies, or simply act as a strike-triggering attractor.

History:
Invented by Lee Wulff in the 1930s, this iconic pattern blended the Royal Coachman’s color scheme with Wulff’s high-floating, hair-wing construction. It's become a must-have fly for fast water and freestone streams.
