Pink Lady

The Pink Lady is an attractor dry fly that loosely imitates light-colored mayflies or egg-laying females. The bright pink floss body and white wings can also resemble some species of Ephemerella or even stoneflies under certain light.

History:
A Catskill-style dry fly developed in the early 1900s, the Pink Lady was designed as both a hatch-matcher and an attractor. It rose to prominence due to its high visibility and effectiveness in fast water, and it remains one of the more elegant traditional dry flies.
