Hendrickson, Light

The Light Hendrickson represents the lighter-colored female duns of Ephemerella subvaria. These females are more tan or pale pink in tone and typically emerge slightly later than the males.

History:
Tied in the same classic Catskill style, the light version gained popularity as anglers began targeting both sexes of the hatch. It is used interchangeably with the dark version depending on hatch stage and regional variation.
