Crystal Nymph Silver

A flashy attractor nymph that can imitate midge larvae, chironomids, or emergers. The silver body and crystal flash ribbing are highly reflective, mimicking the gas bubble of emerging insects.

History:
This fly originated in stillwater fisheries, especially in the UK and Western U.S., where trout key in on shiny, ascending midges. The non-beadhead version is often fished under an indicator or just beneath the surface on a slow retrieve.
