Beadhead Primrose & Pear

An attractor-style nymph that can imitate pale mayfly nymphs, midge larvae, or emergers, especially during spring. The primrose/yellow dubbing combined with pearlescent flash adds subtle attraction.

Popularized by guide and tyer Davy Wotton, this pattern is particularly effective on clear rivers like the White River in Arkansas. The combination of subtle color and flash gives it crossover appeal in both hatch-matching and searching situations.
