Beadhead Green Drake

Represents the large nymphs of Drunella grandis, or Green Drake mayflies. These are bulky, slow-developing nymphs found in clean, oxygenated rivers.

History:
Green Drake hatches are famous in the West and East alike. The beadhead version allows the pattern to get deep where these large nymphs dwell, especially before their dramatic emergence. Tied in sizes 8–12.
