Beadhead Brassie Copper

Imitates chironomid larvae, midge pupae, and sometimes caddis larvae. The tightly wrapped copper wire body mimics the segmentation and sheen of these insects.

History:
Invented in Colorado in the 1960s by Ken Chandler, Tug Davenport, and Gene Lynch, the Brassie remains a go-to pattern for tailwaters and stillwaters. Beadheads enhanced its sink rate and visibility.
