Beadhead Bird's Nest Black

A buggy, soft-bodied nymph that imitates caddis larvae, stonefly nymphs, and even small hellgrammites in dark coloration.

History:
The Bird’s Nest was created by Cal Bird in the 1950s in California and has remained a Western favorite. Its beadhead version modernized the pattern, helping it reach the strike zone more quickly in deeper or swifter currents.
